Barcelona architect Antoni Gaudi is the city, worth visiting:
Sagrada Familia can not be said to have been to Barcelona without having seen it. And ‘the unfinished work of Gaudi, who was consecrated in November 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI, despite the work is still unfinished. Are expected to be completed by 2026.
Walking in Passeig de Gracia you can see the number 92 also known as La Pedrera Casa Mila and Casa Batlló number 43 which is considered one of the most original buildings of Gaudi.
To finish the tour dedicated to Gaudi, stop in Parc Guell, originally designed as a garden city, is now a beautiful public park.
For museum lovers Barcelona offers many possibilities:
Picasso Museum which has one of the largest collections of Pablo Picasso
MACBA, Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, the beautiful from the outside, and which exhibits works by artists of the twentieth century
Fundació Joan Miró, where you can admire many works: paintings, sculptures, drawings and sketches by Miró all
If you are not lazy, my advice (among other very low cost) is to explore Barcelona on foot, so you can fully enjoy all the souls lost in the city and its districts.
Walking can see:
The old harbor area called Barceloneta is the old fishermen’s quarter, where we eat delicious fish. One suggestion is to enter the premises with more “Tapas remains” on the ground because they are frequented by those who live there in Barcelona. Personally, I tried one I will never forget and at first glance did not look like a palace … arrive at the Place d’Espagne to admire the spectacle of Font Montjuic Magic, famous for its many water features that combine colorful splash with music. If you are interested you can see the full schedule of performances
La Rambla, frequented by many tourists, but also by many street artists. Be assured that you will see some performance walking the path found right next to La Rambla Raval district (home to MACBA) that once was dodgy. Today is full of local multi-ethnic and small shops. Be careful, however, to the portfolio, but for the budget travelers like us, Barcelona is a quiet and safe. I have been there and had no problems of any kind the Gothic Quarter, which is the center of the old city of Barcelona, to get lost in its narrow streets is a must. I’m sure you can enjoy some delicious local Catalan in one of the many that you will find for its alleys. Barium rises above the Gothic Cathedral of Barcelona, dedicated to Santa Eulalia
So what do you think? I have convinced to leave for Barcelona?
