Tate Britain is considered to be one of the most popular art collections in Britain. Tate Britain claims to be one of the top collection gallery of British art from 1500 till present day. The Tate Britain art gallery was built in the year 1897 and the name was after Henry Tate who was the sugar millionaire in his time itself. The building was constructed under the bequest of Henry Tate. It stated to kick off the collection of arts with Victorian pictures which were collected by Henry Tate himself. After the completion of more than a centaury, the art gallery became the multi-sided exploration of Britain. This art gallery comprises of plenty of historic monuments which represents the whole Britain on its own.
The Tate Britain art gallery contains an outstanding example of some of the romantic artists such as constable, Blake and turner. The clore gallery which was designed by none other than sir James Stirling was considered to be hallowed spaces almost as the latter dwelled in the spare. This gallery is most popular for Britain art in the whole world for the sponsorship of the contemporary art to this gallery. The gallery has also been awarded with turner prize.
