The Museo Reina Sofia Madrid is the national museum of Spain. This museum was first inaugurated officially in 10th of September of the year 1992. This museum was named for the queen Sofia of Spain. It is located near the atocha metro and train stations in Madrid. Is present in the southern end of the, also called as the golden triangle of art. This museum is originally dedicated to encourage the art of Spain. Some of the highlights of this museum also include the exquisite collections of two greatest master of 20th century of Spain.

The two masters are Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso. The Guernica which the painting of great artist Picasso is the most popular master piece of the museum without any doubt. The Museo Reina Sofia Madrid art collection also comprises of the work from some of the popular artists such as Eduardo Chillida, Juan Gris, Antioni Tapies, Joan Miro, Pablo Serrano, Luis Gordillo, Lucio Munoz, Jose Gutierrez Solana and Jorge Oteiza. A few of the collection of international artists are also there in this gallery such as man ray, lucio Fontana, Robert Delaunay, Nam June Paik, cubist, large art by Francis bacon to name a few.
